"alt" button:
alternate attack mode
You'll find in the toolbar a discreet and mysterious button marked "alt" . What's its use?
If you experience troubles viewing a disaster on a specific target, click this alternate button. The target-site will be attacked with the current options, but with a different approach (technically speaking). That may solve some of these troubles (but may also cause some others - nothing's really perfect in a "disastered" world).
Examples:
If you're attacking a page with drop-down selectors, you might prefer to use this alternate mode in order to prevent the selectors to overlay the disasters.
Also, Flash movies in the target page may seem to fly over the Netdisaster attack. Try the alternate button.
When the target-page has a field form that keeps the focus, keyboard control might not work. Use the Alternate button then .
Once you have clicked this button, all further attacks will use this alternate mode (the button is "on": ). Click again to get back to the standard attack mode.
