Can I use Netdisaster offline, or inside another program (Power Point, Excel...)?

Netdisaster was designed to work as an online tool. If you need a disaster on specific contents, place these contents on a webpage, and submit it to Netdisaster. But you cannot use Netdisaster inside another program, it just wouldn't work.

It would be great to have these disasters as screensavers.

I'm currently considering the possibility of turning Netdisasters to screensavers. Using these screensavers, you'll be able to generate disasters on anything that can be displayed on your computer monitor.
